The chips and salsa are fantastic. I ordered the 2 taco rice and beans. Aaron ordered a chimichanga. He was pretty hungry and the smaller chimichanga order was plenty enough for him. All the food was amazing. I'm really impressed. We will definitely be back. that's the first time I've ever had rice and beans where I considered taking the leftover rice and beans home they were that good.

I always get stomach aches after I eat the chips and salsa. The staff is nice but weird. I don't think they get along among each other. I used to get the quesadilla I think which was good but I stopped. The Fleming Island location was way worse... It was clean but the steak was as hard as my flip flop. I think I had ordered the chicken fajita too.

"Speedy Gonzales" lunch special.... NOT SPEEDY AT ALL. In fact, our party of 3 never even got to each lunch! Sat there for an hour & no food.... Except for chips & salsa. Had to go back to work like normal people do w/in an hour lunch break. Manager was not sorry or graceful. Should have gone to Pengree's

Nothing fancy, fast, cheap and pretty good. First time at this location. Monday night was not busy, service was friendly and correct. Server was attentive and very pretty. Beer was almost too warm in the bottle though. Chips and salsa arrived while we were sitting down! Enjoyed but, wouldn't wait in line .

Never had a bad experience at this location. The food is always hot and delicious. The dining area is usually clean and the service is never bad here. I really love just about everything on the menu but the chicken chimichangas are my favorite and is something I frequently order whenever I visit. If you havent tried them I suggest you do. :-)

Yes, it is fast and cheap.. And the service is very good. So are the beans. OK, thats everything from my Pros list. Why can't Mexican restaurants make a decent Margarita? I swear I've never been to one that understands how to make one. You have to SHAKE IT!!! You cant just pour stuff (including the same sweet n sour you can buy at Publix) in a glass and call it a Margarita. They do however have a good selection of Mexican beers here and all priced right. Starters... well the salsa isn't homemade, and its pretty obvious. The food is equally unspectacular, just ground beef, not well seasoned, enchiladas... and the sauce is again, right out of a can. And I hate to even call the other thing I had a Chili Relleno, it wasn't battered and fried. It was basically just a cheese/beef stuffed Poblano. Like I said, the best thing on the menu are the beans, they're very very good. Its hard to complain with the prices so low. $11 for a combination plate and a domestic beer, thats a deal. But I would be willing to pay a premium for better food.

Very rarely do I ever want to pay 4x the price for taco bell quality food. On my last visit my meat couldn't even be called that, and the rice was so overcooked I could've laid bricks with it. There are much better, more authentic options in town than this disaster style chain

La Nop is basic, but in an extremely good way. I love the Carnitas. They will be the death of me.

Went yesterday and got takeout and was overcharged. My fault should have checked bill. But as a result will not be back.

Was very pleased with this location. It was very large on the inside, looked clean, smelled nice & our to go order was ready in no time. Good sized portions for the price. The food was unusually spicy. Not sure what they did differently but all 4 of us noticed the spice. We will be back for more yummy Mexican food :) chips & queso are always yummy.

First time at this restaurant or location. Service is ok it was busy so I expected some waiting. Server wasn't friendly or vocal. Food was plentiful for the money and was very good. Overall good place to go.

I hate to give Lonop only 1 star. The value in what is offered has severely changed from it once was. For insurance I used to swear by the guacamole.. Was chunky and wonderful. Now it best compares to a pea soup. The piña cloaca not so cool any more either. Lumps of ice.. No wiped cream.. No fruit soo sorry Lonop is no longer my fav.

The food is very tasty and the price point is right on, but service can be a bit hit or miss. Although no one has ever been rude to me, I have had servers here who are just not super friendly. It is not something to keep me away from La Nop, but it is something I would be pleased to see change.

Very popular Mexican restaurant. Their fajitas nachos are one of the yummiest dishes they have. Carnitas are moist and juicy as well. Can get quite crowded at times.

Yummy Mexican food and drinks at a great price! There are tons of combo specials to choose from. I always get the same thing--start off with a strawberry daiquiri and queso dip. Then the #22 combo--a taco, burrito, rice and beans!

Best Mexican and margaritas in town for the best price. They also have a phenomenal wait staff :)

The only good thing I can say about this place is the price, they aren't very expensive but the food is of low quality and quantity. The service is mediocre at best and most of the people that work here can barely speak english which is a huge negative to me.

The best La Nop around! See Mr. Eddie and order the Devin Special. He'll know what you mean ;)

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
